Gardiner is orchard and farm country at the foot of the Shawangunk Ridge, with Minnewaska State Park Preserve bordering the town to the west. Properties out here tend to sit on more land than a village lot, which changes what a deck or outdoor living project looks like and how far a crew has to run new electrical or plumbing lines.

A lot of Gardiner's homes are older farmhouses with the settling and uneven subfloors that come with age, so flooring and window projects here usually start with leveling and a structural check before any new material goes down.
